COVID RELIEF WORK IN REMOTE VILLAGES OF UTTRAKHAND
There were several media reports during the second wave of COVID-19 about remote villages of Uttrakhand facing a shortage of life-saving medicines, and even commonly used paracetamol, amid a severe second wave of Covid-19.
Help and Empower Foundation reached the remote villages of Uttrakhand with medical relief support and distributed digital thermometers, Pulse Oxymeters and medicines, with the help of ASHAs.
Accredited social health activist (ASHA) is a key link to public health services in villages in India.
